    Thermal fire detection cameras are reliable systems for surveillance and recognition of spontaneous fires mainly in critical infrastructure sites.  The probability of spontaneous combustion in these areas is high with disastrous effects for personnel and the environment.  Thermal fire detection cameras use high performance infrared cooled and uncooled detectors manufactured by SCD and they analyze thermographic images to detect hot spots making it a very early warning fire detection system.
